This report was built as part of a personal project of mine called The Tactical Bridge, where I used publicly available data sources to produce data-driven pre-match opposition analysis and post-match performance analysis for Chelsea FC fixtures in the second half of the 2024-2025 Premier League Season. Throughout this project, I made use of publicly available sources of data such as Opta via FBRef and WhoScored.com. Additionally, the broadcast clips have been taken from the Premier League official streaming partner in India Disney+ Hotstar, and have been telestrated on by myself.

The attached report is a data-driven post-match performance analysis report on Chelsea's home fixture against Everton on 26th April, 2025.

Chelsea delivered a commanding 1-0 win over Everton at Stamford Bridge, with Enzo Maresca’s side dominating possession and dictating the game’s tempo through clever tactical structures. A 27th-minute goal from Nicolas Jackson was the difference on the scoresheet, but it was Chelsea’s intelligent use of space, overloads in midfield, and proactive pressing that truly defined the match.
